the throb
Orlando is home to many an interesting attraction, some of which are of particular interest to the resistance. Among the big points of interest are the numerous theme parks, zoos, and aquariums that contain a whole host of animals to acquire, but those aren't the only things to check out here. Player character-important locations are also listed here; if you'd like the mod team to add a location relevant to your character (such as their place of work or somewhere they frequently spend time), just let them know!
theme parks
Orlando is home to numerous theme parks -- not only those within Disney World, but those of Universal Studios and SeaWorld as well! Always busy and bustling with people, these theme parks provide tons of entertainment with a multitude of things to do, but for the resistance, they serve another purpose: the large variety of animals contained in the park exhibitions are an incredibly useful resource for acquiring new morphs. Just don't get caught sneaking into the animal enclosures!
tespil's crash site
Nestled deep in the woods by a campsite just outside of Orlando, the crash site of Tespil's ship is usually the default rendezvous point when the resistance group needs to meet up. Her ship is protected by an advanced cloaking hologram to prevent any hapless passersby from noticing it, and Tespil is taking measures to secure the area against Yeerk infiltration, as well.
Although the Andalite ship is no longer flight-capable, its systems are still operational, and the resistance are expressly forbidden from entering without her permission or supervision. The ship is equipped with a functioning cloaking and communications system, and also houses Tespil's portable Kandrona. Security protocols within the ship are still intact, and would take an awful lot of work for a human to break through.
lucky lanes bowling alley & bar
A well-loved local establishment, Lucky Lanes is frequently host to events such as league matches, birthday parties, and theme events like retro nights. Inside the bowling alley is a snack bar with cheap food and a bar that does karaoke seven nights a week, so there's never a dull moment or lack of things to do. It's friendly to serious and casual bowlers alike, and the variety of entertainments for all ages has gained Lucky Lanes some popularity with The Sharing, who have held a number of events at the bowling alley.
the throb
One of Orlando's most happening nightclubs, The Throb is a sleek, chic bar and lounge that opened its doors only five years ago, but has recently become a hot spot for the local nightlife. Features include ladies' nights, no cover before 10pm, and a list of increasingly esoterically-named but apparently wildly popular drinks, such as the Who's Your Daddy, I'm Your Daddy, Poop In Your Throat, and most recently, Tiger Piss. You probably have to be really hardcore to drink something called Tiger Piss and enjoy it.
